Step 1 – Login to your WordPress Admin Dashboard
Step 2 – Go to Plugins
Step 3 – Check if Responsive Scrolling Tables and TinyMCE Advanced is installed and activated
Step 4 – Download, install and activate both plugins if not already installed
Step 5 – Create a post, the toolbar above where you type will have a ‘table’ tool button
Step 6 – Click on the table button when your mouse cursor is in the place where you want to add the table in the post. Select the number of rows and columns for the table by dragging the mouse across the grid
Step 8 – Click to add the table to the post
Step 9 – You can add or delete cells, rows and columns using the table menu.
Step 10 – View the post and you will see your table. The responsive table plugin allows you to scroll left and right through the table if the number of columns means that it is too wide to fit within the page. This is ideal for viewing your blog post on a mobile device.
